There are miles of snowmachine trails near our lodge. The Lower Susitna Development Association grooms trails on the Yetna River and on the Willow and Big Lake Trail Systems. Guided snowmachine trips are available. Snowmachines are available for rent either from us or Alaska Toy Rental in Wasilla. We also have a cabin on the Yetna River that is available for renting.
Dog sled trail rides are available upon request at designated times. We can arrange for camping along the Iditarod Trail for watching the dog teams running in the Last Great Race. There are also miles of groomed cross country ski trails on the Willow and Big Lake Trail Systems. If you want to do some fishing, there is great ice fishing on nearby rivers.
Sleigh rides are available for $15 per person. Soup and a roll are included. The sleigh, which looks like a Santa sleigh, is pulled by a snowmachine and holds up to eight adults. This is a fun way to view the many moose near our lodge.
